Dead of Night is a screenplay that takes place on a remote island in the middle of the Atlantic where a new fossil fuel known as Cerulean Light powers the entire island. Sourced from nuclear power plants just off the coast, Cerulean Light is what provides electricity, technology, and everything that needs powering. But when the power plant explodes, everyone exposed to a direct source of Cerulean Light suddenly dies, and apocalyptic phenomena plague the island.
The story follows teenager Lyra Night, a Mute girl who communicates using American Sign Language, as she dives deeper into the secrets of the island and is determined to unveil the evils responsible.
